My latest work since MG Banshee ^^ 1/72 Liger Zero Schneider.
For the last two weeks I built this beast at the office. Of course not using my work hours.

I usually arrived at the office 90-120 minutes earlier to avoid the crazy rush hours. So, there's plenty time to build this model bit by bit.

MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee

Wow, it's almost three months after my last post, hahaha. Sooo busy with my work at the office and the 'take home' work. Actually the banshee was finished a week after that last post, minus the decals, but some event and weakness of this kit render me disappointed.

Darkness Prevail...

Since I've got the RG Skygrasper last month, I had a plan to build it along with the RG Aile Strike last weekend. This will be my 3rd RG after RG Zaku II a couple months ago.

I'm preparing the tools on Friday night when a dark presence came (by a courier) to seduce me...

Gun Sniper Leena ver. —Painted

From the photos of the last post, we can see that the main color is dark blue,
a bit light blue here and there, orange bolts, and gray for the weapon pack. (Two or three shade of gray actually). I don't quite fond with the light blue, and the gray color can't really show the variation of weapons that this little raptor had.

Painted all the blue parts (dark and some of the light) with dark blue, white for the 'ears' and missile covers, bronze for the mouth, dark silver for the inner frame and weapons. Then panel lined with gundam marker.

The bolt was painted with bright gold, but the paint was too thin.

As a kid, I love dinosaur. Yeah, every kids love dinosaur  ^__^

Remember that old TV series like "Dinosaucers", "Dino Raiders", "Denver The Last Dinosaur"?

Or dinosaur toys that we played with? Remember "Bone Age"? Or "Skeleflex"?

Even Transformers had their own dinosaurs (No Dinobots? Why Bay? Why???)

 Combined with mecha theme, dinosaurs sure became a saleable stuff for boys.

Maybe that's why ZOIDS was created :D

Gun Sniper Leena Version. My very first ZOIDS kit.

Got this kit a month ago and build it as soon as I got the time (sorry for all my MIB gunpla).

After many human like mecha kit, this kit sure a refreshment project for my soul.. if I have any.

Finished in two consecutive days, and painted fully in one day.

 

 The head design is nice. Openable mouth and cockpit, movable ear/horn,
with two plastic pipe that connect it to the body.

RG Char's Zaku II (Done!)

Got a short time to take pics of the Zaku II (and forced to end it when my cam's battery runs out XD)

Lost several decals here and there due of posing, but I had fun ^^

It takes hours to put all of those tiny decals (plus eye sore and backache)

I think the red/pink colors are too light, the decals on that parts aren't too visible.

Finished decaling Seravee Designer Color.. Finally it doesn't look boring white or black anymore haha..
I smeared glossy coat before applying decals.

Not much, with little color sepparations.
The inner frame is almost identic with RG RX 78-2.

 When did I get this kit? A year ago? How time flies.. hahaha...

Got a little free time this Saturday, so I guess I can start building this kit.

I don't expect to finish it this weekend though. 

The 'three times faster' MS will be done in 'three times slower' XD

 I always amazed with RG box illustration. Shiny!

Something Fit for This Blog's Title

Revoltech 072 - REYCAL ORICHALCUM [REVIEW]

When this revoltech was released, I really don't know who or what she was.
I just read the manga some weeks ago, titled "Orichalcum Reycal" (2008), work of Shirou Tsunashima (his other works: JinKi). This figure has almost exactly 1:1 scale you know, because in the manga Reycal really is a figurine that came to live. Reycal equipped with armor that can be removed and if joined together will form an eagle named Knight Eagle.

 THE BOX

 

 Standard new revoltech box, with large window and character illustration (one of few Reycal pic I've ever found on the net). Forgot to take the back side though.

Seravee WIP: Painting

Finally finished (partly) repainting Seravee ^^/ In the midst of top coat now..

Repainted the Whites, can't really see the difference.. need to go macro ^^;;
