Revoltech 072 - REYCAL ORICHALCUM [REVIEW]
When this revoltech was released, I really don't know who or what she was.
I just read the manga some weeks ago, titled "Orichalcum Reycal" (2008), work of Shirou Tsunashima (his other works: JinKi). This figure has almost exactly 1:1 scale you know, because in the manga Reycal really is a figurine that came to live. Reycal equipped with armor that can be removed and if joined together will form an eagle named Knight Eagle.

Standard new revoltech box, with large window and character illustration (one of few Reycal pic I've ever found on the net). Forgot to take the back side though.

The hair can move up and down, the side part can rotate sideways, move up and down too.
It looks awkward from behind, but she'll survive :D

Two revolver joints for the hand, and smal joint at every wrist part.
IMO, the shoulder joints are a bit too high.

Three revolver joints for each leg.
The rubber part is a nice design, the leg movements aren't too restricted.
No swivel joint at the thigh. It's bad because limiting the movement, but it's also good so Reycal can has smooth thighs :P

The neck uses a double joint. She can look down and up easily (if you can ignore the gap between the neck and shoulder when she looked up.

The Knight Eagle doesnt have many articulation. Only at the wings, tail, and feet.

VERDICT
Not many review about this revoltech on the Net. But I can say that she's good.
The paintjobs, the articulations, the sculpts, all meet (and a bit higher than) my expectations from revoltech yamaguchi's line.
Moe lover will find Reycal adorable, and mecha lover at least can consider her as another version of Valsione.
The flaw: Revo's stand sux... (that's why I used figma stand instead)
One more thing.. her panty should be black, tee he he..
