RG Strike & Weapon Packs

RG Strike + Aile, Sword, & Launcher Packs

Bought this kit about two years ago, and the sword/launcher packs last year.
Strike is one of my favorite mobile suit. It's design are quite simple but not too plain, muscled but not too bulky. With the extra packs, it can be used as an all round weapon.

Took almost two days to finish strike and aile pack alone, plus another two days for sword and launcher packs. As with usual RG kits, it came with tons of decals, and the time to put it on the sword and launcher packs are longer than the time to build those packs XD

No WIP photos this time (except several mobile phone photos that I won't bother to upload)
And I haven't build the Skygrasper yet. Got no action base nor space to display it :(

RG Char's Zaku II (Done!)

Got a short time to take pics of the Zaku II (and forced to end it when my cam's battery runs out XD)

Lost several decals here and there due of posing, but I had fun ^^

It takes hours to put all of those tiny decals (plus eye sore and backache)

I think the red/pink colors are too light, the decals on that parts aren't too visible.

Not much, with little color sepparations.
The inner frame is almost identic with RG RX 78-2.

 When did I get this kit? A year ago? How time flies.. hahaha...

Got a little free time this Saturday, so I guess I can start building this kit.

I don't expect to finish it this weekend though. 

The 'three times faster' MS will be done in 'three times slower' XD

 I always amazed with RG box illustration. Shiny!

Not too much pose though. Coz I'm too afraid to ruin the decals (it's not coated yet :P)

 The 'realistic decals' is nice.

Thinner and sturdier than regular decals, with several metallic tones here and there.

The skirt parts fall easily, and the ankle joints aren't too tight...

And the peg on the beam sword didn't fit with the arm's peg hole :P

The bazooka is nice.

 for some reason, for me, one of the most remembered part of gundam is the shield...

Well, this is my first RX 78-2 model after all those years building gunpla.

The design is old (of course), but this new RG line really hides that fact. With those new inner frame design and articulations, I felt like having a PG miniature.

Of course its not as sturdy as the PG line and I have to move the joints with extra cautions.

Drawbacks: some parts easily fell off, the hip and ankle joints are a bit loose (maybe it's just mine)

Decaling NZ-666 Kshatriya

Hello! I'm writing this at the train otw to airport.. I can't fly before posting this XD *Maniak*
So on the light of Kidou Senshi Unicorn eps 3, the quad-wing Kshatriya has lost in battle. But it has not lost her existence in my collection :) Couple of days last week, I've been having decal affair with the green wings. Finally I'm doing it! I already bought the samuel water decals around last year.

And so here's the result *jepret2x* ^^

Unfortunately the decals are all white which i didn't foresee when i painted the wing with soft green.. The contrast is not really good.

Some decals on the hands and legs side. I like sticking the big decals.. small tiny decals are hell.. >,<

One exceptional decal in gold i sticked on the front lower armor ^^ Each 2 decals on each knee, 7 on the hip armors.

Now I like decaling on these parts cause the dark colors, the decals stand out! ^^ 7 decals on front side, 3  on the head.

Back side

Eventually lots of decals end up in the back side ^^;; The darker green makes decals really stand out :)

18 decals in total.. 

Actually there're still unused decals, cause I'm too exhausted to continue *fiuuh* My first experience decaling.. I can say it's like hell! Very exhaustive.. Cut decals, dip inside water, drying, adjusting to the right position, apply mark softener, took a lot of time and concentration, and can easily screwed up..

Now Kshatriya looks better :)

And now it's time to fly to Jakarta again, holiday! :D See you again ^^/

1/144 HGUC NZ-666 Kshatriya (WIP)

So After watching Gundam UC eps 1 which is mainly a show for NZ-666 Kshatriya, I was in love with it. A rush to the nearest gunpla store that i know of, only to found out that it's no more in stock T_T Thank goodness Arrel offered his help to get this kit from Jakarta :D

And so there you go! I got the kit on 27 March 2010. Yay! \^^/
